ACT-2 tester is used to check the correct operation of the following types of air conditioning compressors: – compressor with electromagnetic clutch – check the condition of the electromagnetic clutch, – compressor with clutchless drive – check the operation of the electromagnetic valve controlling the compressor output. Attention! The tester does not support solenoid valves with a built-in safety diode (valves used in Mercedes cars, among others). Using a tester for this type of valve may damage the valve or the tester. The tester can be used both on the air conditioning test bench and by checking the compressor in the car.
