The DTA-1 is designed for testing electronically controlled dampers. It gives the ability to set the throttle flap to any position by sending the appropriate control signal to the throttle controller. The current drawn by the throttle, measured by the tester, provides an opportunity to assess its correct operation.
The DTA-1 tester can be successfully used in both air damper remanufacturing companies and auto repair shops offering a wide range of repairs to diagnose throttle faults.
The current version of the DTA-1 tester makes it possible to diagnose air dampers manufactured by Siemens, Pierburg, Valeo, Delphi, Wahler and Magneti Marelli with the following designations:
