TP-TACT is a diagnostic device designed to test the efficiency, and program the operating range of electronic controllers of turbochargers. According to our customers, the distinguishing features of our turbocharger controller tester and programmer are self-contained. You don’t need additional software or a computer to start diagnosing turbochargers and turbo actuators, all you need is TP-TACT together with an AC adapter or optional mobile ZMS-15V. TP-TACT KIT, software version 1.06, comes with 33 dedicated diagnostic cables for safe operation with controllers from leading manufacturers, without the need to map pins and recognize channels yourself. The device allows diagnosing more than 400 models of controllers from leading manufacturers: * HELLA, * SIMENS, * BOSCH, * MAGNETI MARELLI, * MAHLE * CONTINENTAL * and others. According to our customers, this is the most favorable ratio of supported controllers to the price of this type of device on the market. The tester/programmer is also available in the variant BASIC without diagnostic cables with the possibility to create your own cable configuration. TP-TACT Turbocharger Controller Tester and Programmer.

The device is designed for testing the efficiency and programming the operating range of electronic controllers of turbochargers. TP-TACT will find use in turbocharger remanufacturing companies, as well as in garages wishing to diagnose turbocharger faults.

The tester module has the following functions:

  • Test of electronic controllers of turbochargers with exhaust venting,
  • Test of electronic controllers of turbochargers with variable geometry (VTG,VNT).
  • DC motor test derived from turbocharger controllers,
  • Test of sensors for the position of the exhaust gas bleed flap or variable geometry,
  • Test of turbocharging pressure control solenoid valves used in pneumatic systems.

What is the TP-TACT tester / programmer for?

The TP-TACT device combines the functions of VNTT-PRO and TurboProg devices.

What power supply does the tester/programmer require?

The tester / programmer accepts supply voltages in the range of 12 … 15V. The voltage source should have a current efficiency of at least 4A. There is a stabilized power supply intended for TP-TACT in the kit.

 

Is it possible to update on-line?

Yes. All you need to do is connect the programmer to the USB connector of any PC or laptop with Internet access and run the update program. Details on how to update are included in the device manual.

 

What is the current version of the tester/programmer?
