ACT-2 tester is used to check the correct operation of the following types of A/C compressors:
– compressor with electromagnetic clutch – check the condition of the electromagnetic clutch,
– compressor with clutchless drive – check the operation of the electromagnetic valve controlling the compressor output.

Description
ACT-2 tester is used to check the correct operation of the following types of A/C compressors:
– Compressor with electromagnetic clutch – check the condition of the electromagnetic clutch,
– Compressor with clutchless drive – check the operation of the solenoid valve that controls the compressor output.
Attention! The tester does not support solenoid valves with a built-in safety diode (valves used in Mercedes cars, among others). Using a tester for this type of valve may damage the valve or the tester.
The tester can be used both on the air conditioning test bench and by checking the compressor in the car.

What is the ACT-2 tester for?
The ACT-2 tester is used to check the correct operation of solenoid valves used in passenger cars to regulate the flow of air conditioning coolant.
Attention! The ACT-2 tester is not suitable for checking solenoid valves with a protective diode or other elements protecting against overvoltage.
What power supply does the ACT-2 tester require?
The tester tolerates supply voltages in the range of 12 … 15V. The voltage source should have a current efficiency of at least 4A. The kit includes stabilized power supply intended to power the tester.
Is it possible to update on-line?
It is not possible to update the ACT-2 tester online.
What signal frequency range does the ACT-2 generate?
The generated frequency range is: 20Hz … 1000Hz. The device allows you to set the frequency with an resolution of 1Hz.
What range of the signal duty cycle can be set?
The duty cycle can be adjusted in the range of 0% … 100% with an resolution of 0.1%.
Are the original connectors adapted to the connection of valves included in the set?
The valves are connected to the tester by means of cables terminated with universal terminals. The set does not include the original connectors.
