OCT-3i – Intelligent control of ozone concentration in the working environment

 

The OCT-3i is a state-of-the-art ozone concentration tester designed for industrial, sanitary and laboratory applications. The device was developed in response to the needs of users of the OCT-3 PRO model, enriched with key features that allow not only measurement, but also active safety management in environments where ozone is used.

With the configuration of concentration thresholds and the ability to integrate with external infrastructure, making the OCT-3i not only a meter, but also a local controller for warning systems and process automation.

  • Light and sound signal: Built-in LED alarm and buzzer – configurable from the device’s menu.
  • Control by two relays: Freely definable trigger thresholds (e.g., 1 ppm – for alarm signaling; 3 ppm – for automatic shutdown of ozone generators or activation of ventilation).
  • Integration with external systems: The OCT-3i is ideal for interfacing with security control panels, traffic lights, industrial automation systems and PLCs.
  • Modular design – interchangeable probe: A measuring probe with a range of up to 20 ppm is included. The device allows easy configuration by replacing the probe – tailored to the application requirements

Jaka jest trwałość czujnika?

Szacunkowa trwałość czujnika wynosi 2 lata przy normalnym użytkowaniu. Zalecany okres kalibracji wynosi 6 miesięcy.

Dlaczego uzyskiwane stężenia są niższe niż oczekiwane ?

Bardzo trudno przewidzieć stężenie ozonu tylko na podstawie wymiarów pomieszczenia i wydajności ozonatora. Po pierwsze specyfika pomieszczenia ma bardzo duży wpływ na okres połowicznego rozpadu ozonu. Dotyczy to wyposażenia, temperatury, wilgotności, obecności zanieczyszczeń, np. LZO uwalniane ze ścian czy innych elementów, szczególnie po remontach. Dodatkowo te same czynniki wpływają na wydajność ozonatora. W przypadku ozonatorów bardzo trudno zweryfikować prawdziwą wydajność co nie ułatwia zadania. Jeśli chodzi o sam pomiar to należy zapewnić cyrkulację powietrza w pomieszczeniu i umieścić czujnik w takim miejscu, aby był lekko opływany przez powietrze.
