The tester independently powers the sensors under test therefore it can be used both inside and outside the vehicle. With the QST-5, testing automotive sensors is convenient and easy. The sensor is connected using three numbered terminals. The device can automatically indicate the variant of the sensor under test (e.g., inductive or Hall) and provide the pinout. The user can then conduct a functional test by examining its response under various test conditions.
