The TCR-4 tester is designed to diagnose common rail injection systems. It is used to read the value from the high pressure sensor and control two pressure control valves at once.

It can be used both to read pressure and control control valves in a car and to diagnose high-pressure pumps on a test bench. It is necessary to monitor the pressure in the tank by which it is possible to make a proper assessment of the condition of the high-pressure pump.

The tester can also be used to monitor fuel pressure in FSI-type injection systems.

Description

The TCR-4 tester is designed to diagnose common rail injection systems. It is used to read the value from the high pressure sensor and control two pressure control valves at once.

It can be used both to read pressure and control control valves in a car and to diagnose high-pressure pumps on a test bench. It is necessary to monitor the pressure in the tank by which it is possible to make a proper assessment of the condition of the high-pressure pump.

The tester can also be used to monitor fuel pressure in FSI-type injection systems.

TCR-4 tester functions:

  • Circuit test to check the continuity of pressure sensor circuits and attached valves.
  • Pump test to read the high pressure value from the sensor and automatically control the control valve to achieve the set pressure.
  • High pressure reading – reading the value of the pressure in the fuel system without controlling the valves: it is possible to read the instantaneous value, pressure pulsation (changes over a certain time interval, as well as the maximum value since the beginning of the test).
  • Manual valve control – allows you to manually select the value of the control signal for individual solenoid valves.
